Volunteer Day at the Heritage Farm!

Saturday, May 1, 2021 (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Would you like to volunteer with the historical society but don't have the free time to make a recurring commitment? Our upcoming Volunteer Day is the perfect way to get involved with only a three-hour commitment!

We need a small team of volunteers to help us scrape and paint areas that need some touching up on the historic buildings located on our Heritage Farm site behind the museum.

Please RSVP by April 23rd to louisahistory@verizon.net / 540-967-5975). Work will be outdoors and socially distanced. No supplies or prior experience needed. Volunteers will be provided with a picnic lunch to reward them for all their hard work! Rain date: Saturday, May 8th.
