Virginia Free Farm Volunteers Needed

Virginia Free Farm specializes in providing nutrient-dense, organically raised produce and poultry to local community members in need. We practice sustainable, indigenous farming techniques and foodways to ensure our land is cared for as it provides nourishment to Louisa County and its surrounding communities.

If you like digging in and getting your hands dirty, love to garden or farm, or want to learn more about it, then volunteer with us and help bring healthy, free food to families in our area!

Sample tasks include: planting and picking vegetables, feeding and caring for poultry, weeding, beekeeping, canning and packing food, dropping off, or delivering produce to our community partners and local families. There is a lot to do—no matter your skill level or ability, you can help!
