Announcing Fall Green Gifts Opportunity! Applications open in September

In continued celebration of our 70th Anniversary year, we’re happy to announce our “Green Gifts” campaign! We’ve already awarded 30 Green Grants in the spring of 2023, and now we will award 40 Green Gifts in the fall of 2023. This will bring the total to 70 projects and programs that we’ve supported to improve the natural and scenic environment of the Commonwealth during our 70th Anniversary!

Our focus will be on waste reduction and litter prevention. Examples of Green Gifts that will be awarded include Trex benches (made from recycled plastic); recycling bins, pet waste stations, litter cleanup kits and dumpster rentals, and cigarette litter prevention kits. More information and a simple online application will be available in September on our Green Grants webpage.
