Community Recovery & Catalyst Grants – Awards through Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (CACF) up to $50,000 for community organizations in response to COVID-19, especially as they support vulnerable communities. Application deadline August 14. The Community Foundation will consider proposals affecting populations living in any geography within the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Orange and Nelson. Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization, governmental or religious entity, or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) organization. Organizations may only submit one application, unless the organization is a public school. All eligible organizations are welcome to apply whether or not they have previously received funding from the Foundation.
The Rebuild VA Grant Fund is a program to help small businesses and non-profits whose normal operations were disrupted by COVID-19, including restaurants, brick and mortar retail, exercise and fitness facilities, personal care and personal grooming services, entertainment and public amusement establishments, and campgrounds. |

Louisa CARES Grant Now Open!
Louisa County grant applications are now open! This program’s funds have been made available by the Louisa County Board of Supervisors from the County’s Coronavirus Relief Funds under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Click here for more information.
Application Period: Open 12:00 a.m., August 5, 2020 through 11:59 p.m., August 19, 2020. Amount: The maximum grant amount under this program is $10,000 per business establishment. Business Eligibility Criteria: · Forced closure due to Executive Orders 53/55 or minimum of 3 Full time Employees · Gross Receipts less than $1,000,000 · Physical location in Louisa County · Local taxes are current as of March 1, 2020 · Business revenue losses of 25% attributable to COVID-19 · Minimum 2 years in business · For-profit business

Catalyst is a long-format accelerator, providing early-stage startups in central Virginia with nine months of program support, including: $20,000 in grant funding, dedicated workspace, experienced founders-in-residence, monthly programming, dedicated staff, a large network of industry experts, and access to nearly $50,000 in additional resources. |
