Every January, Virginia Living releases their special Weddings issue that celebrates Virginia couples and highlights their big day. Virginia Living Weddings is a treasure trove of inspo for cakes, florals, keepsakes, trends, and traditions. You can submit your own wedding—or someone else’s—for editorial consideration and to be profiled in our January 2024 special issue.

Were you married on or after August 1, 2022? We invite you to share your wedding day with our editors. Select couples will be featured in the January 2024 issue of Virginia Living.

Brittany and Jonathan celebrated their big day in the Blue Ridge at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards. The pair not only got hitched, but married their style, bringing in bright pinks and tunic tops to the traditional wedding palette. In a neon skirt and a bolero jacket, the bride met her groom in a field for the first kiss.

How Can I Participate?
CHECK THE DATE
Only weddings that have taken place on or after Aug. 1, 2022 are eligible.
BE ON TIME
Submissions for the 2024 issue of Virginia Living Weddings open on July 10, 2023.
They close on August 11.
There are no exceptions—don't miss the deadline!
STAY LOCAL
The ceremony must have been held in Virginia. (Venues in Washington D.C. cannot be considered.)
Know a couple you’d like to nominate? Photographers, wedding planners, Mothers-of-the-Bride, and more are welcome to submit a wedding on the couple’s behalf.
EXCLUSIVELY VIRGINIA
The wedding cannot have appeared in another publication, print or digital.
(Vendor or personal blogs don't count.)
More to Know About the Process:
- The wedding for the couple being submitted must have taken place on or after August 1, 2022.
- You must submit five to 10 photos to be used in the story
- You must submit the photographer’s name
- You must submit the reception venue
- You must submit the couple’s full names
- You must be willing to be the point of contact for the couple throughout the editorial process
We will let you know if your wedding was picked... or not.
Couples will be notified in September 2023 if they have been selected to appear in the Virginia Living Weddings 2024 issue, coming in January 2024.
