Community Wide Yard Sale @Louisa County High School

LCHS Sources of Strength Community Yard Sale Saturday, April 29, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm 

On February 23rd, the Parent/Community Advisory group awarded the Sources of Strength student organization their weekly student MVP Award. The students described the purpose and benefits of having Sources Strength at LCHS. Students defined terms like "upstream approach," "peer support," and "stigma," and described the sections of the SOS wheel and prior and future campaigns. When the presentation concluded, peer leaders were asked questions about the program, specifically about how to identify students who may be struggling to cope with mental issues. 

Come meet these students who are making a difference at our high school by making mental health an issue of importance within the school. Come support Louisa County High School’s Sources of Strength program at their first ever community wide yard sale – see information below.
