Description

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library – Louisa Expands Outreach This Saturday at Walmart Zion Crossroads

Louisa County’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library (DPIL) is on a mission to make sure every young child in our community has access to free, high-quality books — and with more than 1,000 local children already enrolled, momentum is strong. But there are still many more little readers we want to reach.

This Saturday, beginning at 10:00 AM, the Louisa County High School Interact Club — a student service organization sponsored by the Louisa Rotary Club — will be stationed in front of Walmart in Zion Crossroads to help families enroll their children, ages birth to five, in DPIL at no cost. Advisor Hannah Bupp, LCPS School Counselor, is leading the student team, who’ve been busy creating posters and spreading the word across the county.

Children who stop by can enjoy refreshments and take home a free recent DPIL book (while supplies last). Members of the Louisa DPIL team and Rotary will also be on-site to support families and answer questions.

This is a wonderful opportunity for parents, grandparents, and caregivers to sign up their little ones and help build a lifelong love of reading.

Free books. Local students leading the effort. A stronger start for every child in Louisa County.

Help us spread the word—and stop by on Saturday to enroll the young readers in your life.
