Louisa County Comprehensive Plan Open House

Have questions about the Comprehensive Plan or the related survey? Join us at an upcoming open house to speak directly with County departments and offices, including Community Development, Administration, General Services, Parks and Recreation, the Sheriff’s Office, and Fire and EMS. Events will be held in elementary school cafeterias: 

• Wednesday, December 10, 2025 – Moss-Nuckols Elementary School

 • Wednesday, January 7, 2026 – Trevilians Elementary School

 • Wednesday, January 14, 2026 – Jouett Elementary School 

Time for all events: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Additional dates may be scheduled. The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) will attend each open house to assist attendees with completing surveys, both on tablets and on paper. They will serve as an objective third-party facilitator to help ensure participants can share their views freely. Input from the community is essential to shaping priorities for growth, services, infrastructure, and preservation over the next decade. We thank the citizens who have already taken the survey online and we look forward to speaking with those who plan to join us at an open house soon
