Louisa Fairgrounds Safety Event Drive-Thru

Region Ten Community Services Board, and other community partners, will be tabling at a lunchtime drive-thru safety event at the Louisa County Fairgrounds, located at 208 Fredericksburg Avenue, on Friday, April 30th from 11 AM – 1 PM. Community members can drive-thru to pick up free medication lock boxes, bags, and trigger locks for firearms, in an effort to prevent drug misuse and suicide, which has been on the rise since the pandemic began. We are also offering a quick Rapid REVIVE Opioid Overdose Reversal Training, with free Narcan, while supplies last. Other community partners including The Department of Human Services, Shelter in Help of Emergency, the Sexual Assault Resource Agency, The Louisa Reentry Council, MACAA and JABA will also be providing additional free items and resources.
