Louisa's 4th Annual African American Heritage Festival - Theme: Exploring the Arts

Saturday, August 24, 2024 (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

The annual African-American Heritage Festival in Louisa County is on the calendar for 2024! The theme for this year's festival is “Exploring the Arts."  Those words express what we believe this event will accomplish for our community.

The date is Saturday, August 24th, at Moss-Nuckols Elementary School on 2055 Courthouse Road. Over 1,500 people attended our 2019 festival and the Louisa County Chapter of the NAACP is busily planning to make this year's event bigger and better. As you know, the festival draws both families and community-minded people who enjoy the day and leave able to help get the word about your services to those who need them most.
