Valley Link Transmission invites the public to learn on Joshua Falls–Yeat electric transmission line project: Virtual March 16th
Monday, March 16, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (EDT)
Description

A first in a series of community open houses and stakeholder meetings will kick off later this month to share information and receive community feedback about the proposed Joshua Falls–Yeat electric transmission project.
The project is being developed by the Valley Link Transmission Company, a joint venture between Dominion Energy, FirstEnergy Transmission, LLC and Transource Energy, LLC (a partnership between American Electric Power and Evergy). The proposed project includes approximately 115 miles of new 765-kilovolt electric transmission lines, expansion of the Joshua Falls Substation in Campbell County, Virginia, and a new proposed substation in Culpeper County, Virginia.
Collaboration with local communities is essential to making informed routing decisions and minimizing potential impacts. Valley Link will begin holding community open houses and stakeholder meetings this month to share routing options and hear feedback from residents, community leaders and other stakeholders. A full list of scheduled meetings is available at vltransmission.com/joshua-falls-to-yeat/.
