Welcome to Leadership Louisa 2025, a transformative professional development program brought to you in partnership with the Louisa Forward Foundation, the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce, Innerwill, AWS InCommunities and Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. Our program is dedicated to nurturing effective leaders and community advocates among individuals residing, working, or serving in the Louisa community.

• Receipt email includes link to application.
  • Recommend you download/copy application questions to work on draft
• Application and recommendation letter due:November 15, 2024, by 5 pm
  • This is a competitive application process with up to 20 participants selected.
• Notifications sent to those selected into Class of 2025 by December 6, 2024.

Qualifications:

1. Reside in Louisa County or work for a Louisa business.

2. Employed for over 1 year by current employer and seeking professional growth.

3. Willingness to fully commit to attendance and outside fieldwork.
4. Demonstrated leadership capacity within your organization.
5. Commitment to shaping the future of Louisa County through future community involvement.

Attendance Requirements:

1. Attend 6 workshops from January to June.

2. Fieldwork, outside of class time, for the Community Action Project.
3. One (1) permissible absence under exceptional circumstances.

Commitment and Employer Support:

• Ensure employer reviews schedule and program requirements.
• Discuss and carefully evaluate with employer and family, to meet the program's time requirements.
• Ensure employer is committed to your consistent attendance for a meaningful educational experience.

Tuition (if selected):

• Program Tuition: $950 ($750 for Chamber members)
• Payment can be made by either the participant or the employer
• A limited nuber of scholarships are available in 2025 to assist with tuition.

• December 6, 2024: Class of 2025 Notified
• December 19, 2024: 2025 Class Meet & Greet
• January 10, 2025: Tuition Deadline

• June 17, 2025: Final session, Community Action Project, Graduation
