Ben Shealy

Ben brings extensive experience in fundraising, accounting, financial planning and analysis, and business systems design, implementation, and refinement to his clients. An accomplished senior management and finance executive, Ben is skilled in business development, private and public equity and debt fundraising, strategic cash flow forecasting, SEC reporting, corporate governance, and operational and financial dashboards. As an advisor to CEOs and boards of directors, he also counsels clients on private to public transitions, as well as on acquisition due diligence and integration.

Throughout Ben’s career, he has managed treasury, tax, audit, corporate insurance, legal, human resources, information technology, and investor relations activities for companies in the pharmaceutical, insurance, banking, manufacturing, and technology industries. His expertise also includes managing corporate investments, compiling SEC filings, identifying and negotiating mergers and acquisitions transactions, and implementing internal control policies to improve efficiencies and reduce risk.

Chip Bowman

Chip helps develop Fahrenheit’s business in Virginia by building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate-level executives and referral sources and providing clients with customized strategies for solving their challenges and growing their business. He is skilled in leading operations and finance functions across numerous public and private industries including banking, healthcare, family business, education, manufacturing, and real estate development. He has a demonstrated ability to drive growth based on strategic vision and management of daily operations through process improvement, performance management, systems building, financial initiatives, and policy design and implementation. Chip also has experience in turnaround situations for middle-market clients. He is a member of Fahrenheit’s Leadership Team.

Chip’s hands-on experience in C-level operating and finance roles include establishing finance and accounting systems, improving organizational communication, operational improvement, systems design and implementation, and the evaluation and hiring of outside advisors, consultants, and professional service providers. Chip has also led pre-acquisition due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and new venture startups. He spent his early career working as a corporate banker in Virginia, Boston, DC, and Silicon Valley with a specialty in lending to private equity and venture capital portfolio companies and complex structured finance situations including debt restructuring.
