Leadership Louisa Class of 2024 Graduation Ceremony

After six months of enhancing their leadership skills and connecting with leaders throughout the county, the Leadership Louisa Class of 2024 will graduate on June 20 at Shenandoah Crossing Resort. The Louisa Forward Foundation and the Louisa Chamber of Commerce invite the community to join us as we celebrate these local leaders.

Beginning at 2 p.m., the participant teams will show off their skills in Shark Tank style presentations for their Community Action Project for three local organizations: Fluvanna/Louisa Housing Foundation, Louisa Education Foundation and Pony Partners. 

At 4 p.m. commencement ceremonies will begin. Special guest Duane Adams, Chair, Louisa County Board of Supervisors will join us for the commencement address.

Louisa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Duane Adams is a husband, father, and small business owner. He is a former executive of a major insurance company with 41 years of industry experience. He owns a watersports and adventures company with his wife, Susan.

He’s been the State President of the Future Farmers of America, Board of Directors of the Weston State Farmers Market, former member of the West Virginia House of Delegates and Chairman of the 56th Legislative District Republican Committee.

Duane lives in Louisa with his wife Susan. He has two sons, Tyler and daughter in law Giovanna, Dakota and daughter-in-law Chealsi, and a beautiful granddaughter, Raylin.

Immediately following the ceremony we invite you to celebrate with the graduates, guests, sponsors, Chamber members and community with light refreshments and cash bar.
