JABA’s Louisa Community Senior Center:  Are you looking for a place to meet new friends, get involved in activities, learn about community resources and enjoy day trips? If you are an independent adult age 60+ or with a disability, the Louisa Community Senior Center is for you. Located in the Betty Queen Intergenerational Center, we offer a wide range of activities, healthful lunches and meaningful connections with your peers and other community members. Nourish your body, mind and spirit through exercise, music, crafts, movies, games, field trips and so much more. Center members also have access to all JABA services, including health screenings, information on health issues and assistance in managing chronic diseases. Join us Tuesday – Thursday – membership is free. JABA’s Louisa Adult Care Center:  Does your loved one need a safe and caring place to stay during the week while you work or attend to other responsibilities? The Louisa Adult Care Center (located in the Betty Queen Intergenerational Center) provides a full day of fun, caring staff, intergenerational activities and outings. We specialize in person-centered care, tailored to meet the needs of each individual. While most of our members are older adults (including individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia), we welcome adults age 18+ with disabilities. Call 540.967.4435 to schedule a visit.
