Full-Time Position

Chiles Enterprises is searching for a full-time Landscape Maintenance Technician to complete landscape

maintenance tasks at the North Anna Power Station for Dominion Energy. This job includes cutting grass,

string trimming, brush cutting, trimming trees, storm recovery, snow removal, pesticide application for

weed control, and other duties to maintain a neat appearance at the station and its associated areas.

The candidate should feel comfortable working by themselves as well as with a team as both scenarios

are probable.

We provide a company vehicle for you to use for all work-related tasks and transportation around the

North Anna Power Station property.

Compensation

All company benefits (outlined below) are included alongside a competitive starting pay of

$18.25-$23.00/hour depending upon experience. Obtaining the clearance of unrestricted access to the

protected area will grant a $2.00/hr. pay increase. Also, obtaining a pesticide applicator registered

technician license will grant a $2.00/hr. pay increase. There is room for income growth based on

performance. This is a full-time, year-round position, Monday-Thursday from 6:00AM-4:30PM. This

position reports to the Dominion Energy Point of Contact and the Maintenance Services Account

Manager for Chiles Enterprises.

Job Requirements

● Ability to gain security clearance to the North Anna Power Station

● Ability to pass a thorough background check

● Complete a VA Boater Safety course

● Obtain or possess a Virginia Registered Technician Pesticide Applicator license

Job Responsibilities

Position Summary:

● Maintain grounds by mowing, trimming, pruning, raking, and weeding.

● Safely and effectively apply herbicide treatment to turf and ornamental areas.

● Remove snow, ice, and leaves as needed.

● Load and unload equipment and tools to and from work vehicles.

● Ability to adequately follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks to company

expectations.

● Desire to take pride in your work and the joy it brings to our customers.

● Use the company app to record progress throughout the day.

● Perform all tasks safely and thoroughly.

Characteristics of Our Ideal Candidate:

● Education, certifications, or previous training in landscape management.

● Excellent organizational and time management skills.

● Strong attention to detail.

● Hard-working attitude.

● Desire to complete tasks thoroughly.

● Comfortable with operating equipment including mowers, leaf blowers, and weed eaters.

● Communicates effectively.

● Willingness to work extended hours as needed. On rare occasions, 24/7 availability, depending

on the demands of natural disaster or snow removal operations, may be required.

● Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and excellent personal safety record.
