- Provide leadership and oversight of Duravex’s Safety Committee, ensuring it remains an effective driver of frontline engagement, hazard identification, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, training, and incident investigations.
- Implement inspection routines, reporting systems, and corrective actions that promote a proactive safety culture.
Compliance Oversight (UL, Defense, Regulatory)
- Serve as point of contact for UL program compliance and coordination of facility inspections.
- Support compliance for current and future defense-related programs, including ITAR, DFARS, and NIST SP 800-171 standards where applicable.
- Ensure company-wide adherence to applicable regulatory, customer, and third-party quality and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to verify compliance with quality, traceability, and flowdown obligations.
Training, Records, and Documentation Control
- Lead company-wide training initiatives to build internal awareness and drive ownership of QHSE requirements.
- Establish and maintain systems for document control, compliance records, inspection logs, and retention policies.
- Ensure traceability, audit readiness, and proper documentation across product, process, and safety records.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a QHSE, compliance, or quality systems leadership role within manufacturing.
- Proven experience standing up and managing AS9100 or ISO 9001 programs.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ITAR, DFARS, and related government compliance standards.
