2025 Louisa County Impact Award Winners Announced Celebrating the People, Programs, and Partners Who Make Louisa Stronger
LOUISA, VA — The Louisa Forward Foundation and the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Louisa County Impact Awards, honoring exceptional individuals, organizations, and programs whose efforts make a lasting difference in the community.
The honorees will be celebrated at the Louisa County Impact Awards Luncheon on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at Shenandoah Crossing Resort. The event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend in support of these outstanding contributors.
The 2025 Impact Award recipients are:
- Nonprofit Leader of the Year: Lloyd Runnett, Executive Director, Louisa County Resource Council
This award recognizes outstanding leadership that drives mission and inspires others. Lloyd Runnett, as the inaugural recipient of this award, will deliver brief remarks during the luncheon. - Nonprofit of the Year: Fluvanna Louisa Housing Foundation
This award honors an organization demonstrating excellence, innovation, and sustainability in serving the community. - Impact Program of the Year: Community Gardens by Virginia Free Farm
This award highlights a program that has delivered measurable community impact through creativity and effective implementation.
The Community Partner Honor Roll is also being announced, recognizing individuals, businesses, and organizations who provide exceptional support to Louisa’s nonprofit sector. These honorees were nominated by local organizations as a public expression of gratitude for their partnership and service.
