Branding for Signage & Art, Plus Roundabout Feature Art Design & Installation
The County of Louisa is seeking proposals from qualified firms or creative teams (“Offerors”) to provide:
1. A cohesive visual brand design that can be used for County gateway signage, wayfinding, and adaptable applications across public artwork (including murals and sculptures); and
2. Design, fabrication, and installation of a permanent public feature art for the Wares Crossroads roundabout, meeting all Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) requirements for roundabout safety, setbacks, height, maintenance, and materials.
This RFP supports the County’s newly established Public Outdoor Art Program, created to strengthen community identity, promote tourism, and enhance a sense of place throughout the County.
The County of Louisa reserves the right to award to more than one Offeror, particularly if multiple contracts are needed to separately address the branding and public artwork elements.
Louisa County will select the firm(s) who they determine most closely satisfies the needs of the County. There is no requirement for acceptance of the lowest cost of service offered, and specific requirements may be waived or amended at the discretion of the County.
