8/19/2024

Louisa, VA – The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the upcoming Business Bites Luncheon, taking place on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Callie Opie’s Orchard. This special event will feature a guest presentation from Clark Technologies, a division of Clark Construction, focusing on the transformative impact of the Technology Overlay District and other significant projects in the region.

The presentation will be led by Jeremy Jenkins, Project Executive and RVA Operations Lead at Clark Technologies. Jeremy and his team will provide an in-depth look at the breadth of data work being done in the region, along with an overview of the current plans for the Technology Overlay District. This initiative is set to create new opportunities for growth, collaboration, and innovation.

In addition to discussing the Technology Overlay District, Clark Technologies will introduce their Small Business Partnership Program (SPP), an executive education initiative aimed at fostering the sustainable growth of small minority-, women-, and veteran-owned firms in the construction, engineering, and architecture fields. This program underscores Clark Construction’s commitment to maximizing small business participation on their projects and enriching the local community.

“This luncheon is a must-attend event for any business looking to stay ahead in our rapidly evolving region,” said Tracy Hale Clark, Executive Director of the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce. “Clark Technologies’ presentation will offer valuable insights into how local businesses can engage with these exciting developments and be part of the region’s future growth. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to meet and connect with industry leaders and explore potential collaborations.”

The Business Bites Luncheon is open to all businesses and interested parties. Registration is required and will close on Friday, August 23, 2024. Attendees can register online through the community calendar at LouisaChamber.org.
