The wait is over! We are delighted to announce that winter tickets are officially on sale for our brand-new departure location in Louisa, Virginia. As we expand our horizons, we’re inviting you to be among the first to experience the magic of winter from our newest hub. The Louisa Station is located at 105 Church Avenue, not far from Interstate 64 (Exit 143), between Richmond and Charlottesville. We can’t wait to welcome you to tour the new station and share this beautiful new chapter of the Virginia Scenic Railway.
What new train rides are available in Louisa?
We are pleased to introduce Dining Class service on the Louisa Flyer (3-hr round trip excursion) and the Louisa Flyer Extended (a train-lover's dream that goes west through Charlottesville before returning to Louisa and lasts 4+ hours), plus an all-new concept, the Sunday Brunch train.
Special tasting experiences are available in both locations!
Our Sip & Savor wine tastings and Ales & Rails craft beer events feature a rotating selection of vineyards and breweries.

The historic Louisa passenger train depot, built in 1899, has been fully renovated and now offers free parking on site.
