Fifty-Third Winery & Vineyard Announces September Events

LOUISA, VA – Fifty-Third Winery & Vineyard is welcoming the fall season with a full lineup of events this September, including live music, seasonal celebrations, and unique wine experiences for guests and 53rd Club members.

The month kicks off with Labor Day Wine Specials from Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1, when visitors can enjoy an additional 5% off all bottle purchases. Guests can also find the winery at Louisa Labor Fest at Walton Park on Saturday, August 30 (1–8 pm), or visit the Tasting Room daily from 11–5 pm.

Highlights of the September calendar include:

  • Saturday, August 30Perfect Pairings: White Wine Tasting & Food Experience, featuring 2024 white wines (most not yet released) with curated food pairings, led by certified wine judge Dave Barber. Reserve Tickets ». Live Music: Danny Kensy (1–4 pm).
  • Saturday, September 6Farewell to Summer: Low Country Shrimp Boil, a coastal-inspired feast of shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, cornbread, and sauces, with a complimentary glass of wine. Get Tickets ». Live Music: Mike Proffitt (1–4 pm).
  • Saturday, September 13Live Music: Paulo Franco (1–4 pm).
  • Thursday, September 18Louisa Biz Expo, hosted by the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce. This free, public event (5–7 pm, 53rd Pavilion) highlights local businesses and job opportunities. Wine and Smokin’ Eddies BBQ available for purchase.
  • Saturday, September 20Wine Club Appreciation Day (11–5 pm), featuring Blue Ridge Pizza Co. and live music by Ron Gentry (12:30–4:30 pm).
  • Saturday, September 27First Pour: An Insider’s Tasting with Tracy Waldron, an exclusive guided tasting of unreleased wines, led by Virginia Wine & Spirits Academy instructor Tracy Waldron. Light fare included. More details and ticket link coming soon. Live Music: Bomar and Ritter (1–4 pm).
