Lake Anna and Louisa County business community is ready to share what we love!

Louisa County Chamber of Commerce launches new business-focused campaign to attract visitors in 2021

LOUISA, Va. - To stimulate increased visitation to Lake Anna and Louisa County this summer and fall, the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce is launching a multi-media campaign entitled “Unplug and Play in Louisa County.” The campaign launches Saturday, March 6th, 2021, on the “National Day of Unplugging” and continues through September 2021.

The “Unplug and Play” campaign was created in tandem with the Virginia Tourism “Share What You Love” campaign, which seeks to position Virginia as the premier destination to connect with family and loved ones. Using this motif, Louisa County Chamber will highlight the numerous dining, shopping, wildlife, watersport, and outdoor recreation attractions present in the area to unplug from technology and enjoy the many opportunities to play at Lake Anna and throughout the county.

The “Unplug and Play in Louisa County” campaign will promote participating businesses through digital ads, social media posts, radio reels, email marketing, and other promotional activities. The campaign will target feeder markets in the tri-state area and DC metro region. Businesses are encouraged to join the campaign now through April 15th.

“Our organization is passionate about our community, and as the Chamber of Commerce, our goal is to support all businesses,” says Tracy Hale Clark, Executive Director. “This campaign allows businesses to leverage their limited marketing budgets and reach a much wider audience.”

Business partners will receive direct media mentions through the promotional materials mentioned above. Businesses and organizations may also submit attractions, activities, specials or events to be posted on the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce’s “Love Louisa” website, www.LoveLouisa.org. This opportunity is free and will provide a critical component to the campaign.
