Louisa County Businesses Recognized by SBA for National Small Business Week 2026

Louisa, VA – The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce announced today that two Louisa-based businesses have been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Virginia-Richmond District Office as part of National Small Business Week 2026.

Southern Revere Cellars has been named Virginia Rural Small Business of the Year, and Patriot Industries has been named Virginia Small Business Manufacturer of the Year.

These awards recognize businesses that demonstrate sustained growth, strong financial performance, workforce investment, and meaningful community impact.

Southern Revere Cellars: Rural Impact and Community Leadership

Southern Revere Cellars has grown from a hand-planted vineyard in 2019 into a 70-acre agritourism destination serving visitors from across the region.

The business blends agriculture, hospitality, and community engagement—supporting local vendors, hosting events, and contributing to more than 50 nonprofit organizations through fundraising and partnerships.

“We’re incredibly honored to be named Rural Small Business of the Year by the Virginia SBA regional office. Southern Revere was built from the ground up by our family with a lot of grit, long days, and a deep love for sharing with our community. As a farm brewery and winery, we live the highs and lows of agriculture every day, and this recognition means a lot. We’re proud to call Louisa home and grateful for the support and encouragement we’ve had along the way.”

Patriot Industries: Manufacturing Excellence and National Impact

Founded in 2010, Patriot Industries has grown from a small startup into a 140,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing operation employing more than 80 people and serving customers nationwide.

The company manufactures critical electrical conduit products that support infrastructure projects across the United States and continues to invest in domestic production, equipment, and workforce development.

“This recognition reflects the work of our entire team and the commitment we’ve made to building a strong, American manufacturing company right here in Louisa County. We’ve focused on disciplined growth, investing in our people, and producing quality products in the United States. Being recognized at the state level is meaningful, and we’re proud to represent Louisa and Virginia manufacturing.”

Local Impact, State Recognition

“These recognitions are competitive across the Commonwealth, and both of these businesses earned their place,” said Tracy Hale Clark, Executive Director of the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce. “They represent the kind of leadership, discipline, and long-term investment that strengthens our business community.”

Clark added, “Part of our role is making sure the work happening here is seen and recognized. When businesses are operating at this level, it matters that their stories are elevated.”
