Louisa County Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual Louisa Biz Expo on September 15, 2022.
The free public event offers guests an opportunity to meet representatives from local businesses, pick up samples, and enjoy the scenery at Fifty-Third Winery. Visitors can also purchase wine from the tasting room and delicious barbeque from Smokin’ Eddies.
Rebecca Burtram, Louisa Biz Expo Committee Chair, says, “The event has so much to offer to the community. It is a fun way to connect with the heart of the local economy and promote growth on multiple levels.”
Exhibiting businesses will gather at 4:00 p.m. and network among themselves prior to opening the doors to the public at 5:30 p.m. The event allows them to showcase their services, inform the community of job openings, and connect with potential clients, partners, and referral networks.
Bo Bundrick, Board Chair and Louisa County Public Schools Director of Career and Technical Education & Workforce Development, invites graduates and their families to come out to the event. Bundrick says, “It’s a great opportunity to meet representatives from local businesses and gain a fuller view of the type of careers available right here in Louisa County.”
Around thirty (30) businesses have committed to participate, including the title sponsor, Blue Ridge Bank, and Gold Sponsors Dominion Energy, Hantzmon Weibel LLP, Old Dominion Electric, Piedmont Communications (SAMFM), Rappahannock Electric Cooperative, and The Central Virginian.
