Louisa county childcare program earns award.

John Ortiz, Founder and Educator of Little Leaf Village Academy, located in Cuckoo,  Virginia, recently received recognition for making great efforts to improve the quality of his educational childcare program from the Virginia Infant and Toddler Specialist Network.

The program was 1 of 2 programs that were selected for recognition in the Central region, which encompasses 24 counties.  In addition to receiving a certificate of recognition, they also received $1,000 in materials that were selected specifically to complement his nature based Early Childhood Education Program.

Ortiz states, "I am honored that my dedication to quality improvement in the ECE industry has been recognized, and through continued collaboration, am looking forward to unlocking what Little Leaf Village Academy will become!"
