Louisa County to Rededicate R. Earl Ogg Memorial Building and Welcome Commonwealth’s Attorney Team
LOUISA, VIRGINIA – The Louisa County Board of Supervisors will host a ceremony on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. to rededicate the historic R. Earl Ogg Memorial Building and officially welcome the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney to the facility.
Originally home to the First National Bank of Louisa and located within the Louisa Courthouse Complex, the County purchased the structure in 1978 and dedicated it the following year in honor of R. Earl Ogg, who served on the Louisa County Board of Supervisors for more than 20 years.

The program will include remarks from the Board of Supervisors and the Commonwealth’s Attorney, recognition of the Ogg family, and a ribbon cutting for the newly named conference room.
Media representatives and members of the public are invited to attend. A brief tour of the building will follow the ceremony.
