Louisa Forward Foundation Celebrates Amazon Community Investment and Leadership Impact Across Louisa County

Louisa, VA — February 9, 2026 — The Louisa Forward Foundation (LFF) is celebrating a significant investment in local leadership and community impact following the regional Impact Celebration hosted by the Amazon Rappahannock Region Community Fund, in partnership with The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region.

During the celebration, LFF was recognized as a 2025 grant recipient for Leadership Louisa 2026, marking the program’s 5th anniversary year. The grant expands access to leadership development through participant scholarships, an alumni council, and community-based action projects—strengthening the people and partnerships that drive Louisa County forward.

“Leadership is the foundation of a strong, connected community,” said Tracy Hale Clark, Executive Director of the Louisa Forward Foundation. “This investment from Amazon supports the people who step up to serve, collaborate, and lead across Louisa County. Being recognized alongside so many impactful local organizations reinforced how powerful community investment can be when it’s rooted locally.”

Leadership Louisa is a six-month leadership development program that brings together professionals from business, education, nonprofit, and civic sectors to deepen local understanding, strengthen relationships, and translate learning into action. As the program enters its fifth year, the grant allows LFF to broaden participation and build on a growing network of engaged local leaders.

LFF was proud to celebrate alongside fellow Louisa County grant recipients whose work reflects the breadth of innovation and service shaping the community. These include Louisa Area Students Education Robotics (L.A.S.E.R.), expanding STEAM education and robotics opportunities for students; the Louisa Arts Center, delivering mobile arts programming to children and families; the Fluvanna-Louisa Housing Foundation, supporting essential home repairs for seniors and residents with disabilities; and the Louisa Education Foundation, ensuring Career and Technical Education students have access to critical tools and resources.

Additional Louisa County grant recipients recognized include Louisa County Public Schools through One Book, One Louisa, a countywide literacy initiative; the Louisa County Historical Society, advancing digital preservation of local history; the Louisa County Lake Anna Advisory Committee, supporting safe navigation and recreation on Lake Anna; and Louisa Scout Troop 3, expanding facilities to better serve more than 130 local youth and families.

In attendance were also Louisa County organizations supported through Amazon’s broader community investments in 2025, including the NAACP of Louisa County, the Louisa County Resource Council, Louisa County Parks, Recreation, and Tourism, the Foundation for Lake Anna Emergency Services, the Lake Anna Rescue Squad, and Louisa Clean—each contributing to the safety, vitality, heritage, and quality of life in Louisa County.
