Good afternoon, friends of Louisa County Public Schools!
I'm reaching out to you today because our school division will be celebrating our first Green & Gold Spirit Day of the school year on Friday, September 5th, and we would love to include YOU and YOUR BUSINESS/ORGANIZATION in the fun! 💚 💛
For those who may not know, our Green & Gold spirit days are an LCPS tradition. On these days, all of our 5,300+ students and 1,000+ staff members proudly wear green and gold shirts, pants, necklaces, shoes, ties, and much, much more! And this year, our first Green & Gold Spirit Day also just so happens to be on the same day as our first home football game! (vs. Courtland at 7:30 p.m. in The Jungle). 🏈 As always, we plan to FLOOD social media with Green & Gold photos and cover the town in those same colors! 💚 💛
So, here's how you can get involved (and get a social media shoutout at the same time)!
- Have your team of co-workers proudly wear Green & Gold outfits on Friday, September 5th.
- Snap a team photo and email it to lcpride@lcps.k12.va.us. Be sure to include your business/organization's name!
And that's IT! We're going to take the submitted photos and share them across our LCHS Athletics and LCPS Facebook pages! ⭐️
So, once again, we hope you'll join us and our Green & Gold movement on Friday, September 5th! Rally the troops, snap your photo, and send it our way! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Have a GREAT day!
