Louisa, Va. — The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2023 Businessperson of the Year. This prestigious award recognizes an outstanding business leader(s) who has made significant contributions to the business community and the local economy.

The Businessperson of the Year award is open to member business owners, managers, or executives who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and community involvement over the past year. This is an opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication of the people who make a difference in our community.

“For 38 years, the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce has been recognizing outstanding individuals in the business community,” states Bo Bundrick, Board Chair. “We invite the community to submit a nominee for an individual or individuals with great success in 2022.”

Nominations are open to all member businesses in Louisa County. To nominate a business leader, individuals are invited to complete the online nomination form, which includes a summary of the nominee's accomplishments, leadership qualities, and community involvement. Finalists will be announced May 1st on Chamber Facebook LIVE. 

Previous winners of the Businessperson of the Year award include some of the most respected and innovative business leaders in our community. These winners have made significant contributions to the growth of their companies and have also contributed to the wider community through charitable giving, mentoring, and community involvement.
