Non-Profit Summit at Shenandoah Crossings and Online
Louisa, Va. — The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce (LCCC) will host the Non-Profit Summit on Friday, October 16, 2020, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm, at Shenandoah Crossing Resort with an added virtual attendance option. Staff and volunteer leaders from nonprofit organizations, churches, agencies, or associations throughout the Central Virginia area are invited to participate.
The overwhelming response and encouragement from prior participants set the stage for the 2nd Summit:
"I love the idea of bringing together all the nonprofits in the Louisa area. The presentations were great, but the ability to network and find out what others are doing was extremely helpful.” Jo Griffith, Louisa Arts Center
“I loved the last one and made some really great contacts!” Lisa Dearden, RVAg
“I thought it was informative and useful with a relaxed atmosphere.” Sharon Macdonald, Adult Community Education
The summit provides access to subject matter experts without the high costs of travel and registration typically required to attend educational events. This year’s event includes:
Volunteer Management: Raquel Suarez (CNE) & Winter Broadhurst (JABA)
Grant Writing & Research: Susie Miller (Skill Set Partners)
Fundraising Panel: Amy Hager (Amy Hager Solutions), Moderator
New Technologies & Platforms: Whit Hunter (betterworld)
A $20 registration fee ($15 for chamber members in any county) is required to participate in-person or virtually. There is limited seating, we ask that no more than two (2) from each organization participate in-person. Registration closes on October 9. REGISTER HERE
