Louisa, VA – The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the fifth and final QuadTank Pitch Competition, extending a special invitation to entrepreneurs from Louisa County to showcase their innovative business ideas and compete for a chance to win a $5,000 cash prize.

Last year's winner, Southern Revere Cellars, hails from Louisa County, demonstrating the entrepreneurial spirit and talent within our community. Now, we encourage fellow Louisa businesses to follow in their footsteps and seize this opportunity to gain recognition, support, and funding for their ventures.

Scheduled to take place on June 13, 2024, at the Orange County Public Safety Building located at 11282 Government Center Dr, Orange, VA 22960, the QuadTank Pitch Competition offers a platform for small business owners and start-up ventures to present their innovative ideas, receive valuable feedback, and compete for the grand prize.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and submit a detailed business plan for scoring
• Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced advisors at the Central Virginia Small Business Development Center (CV SBDC)
• Compete in person before a panel of expert judges based on a standard scoring rubric

Key Dates for QuadTank Pitch Competition 2024:

• Meet with a CV SBDC advisor (strongly recommended) by: May 27
• Deadline to submit completed Business Plan: May 30
• QuadTank Pitch Competition Finalists Announced: June 6
• QuadTank Pitch Competition: June 13, 2024 (in person)

To be eligible to participate, businesses must be located within Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, or Orange counties. Interested entrepreneurs should submit their business plans to QuadTank@cvsbdc.org by May 30. It is highly recommended to schedule a meeting with a CV SBDC advisor to refine their business plans before the submission deadline.
