REC’s Joyce Bodoh Appointed to Energy Services Board
Fredericksburg, Va. – Joyce Bodoh, Rappahannock Electric Cooperative’s (REC) Director of Energy Solutions and Clean Energy, has been elected to the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) Board of Directors for 2022.
The AESP is dedicated to improving the delivery and implementation of energy efficiency, demand-side management, distributed-energy resources and demand-response programs. The Board guides the Association’s strategy and is crucial in how it achieves its goal of creating highly educated energy-efficient and clean-energy workforces.
“Joyce Bodoh is a knowledgeable energy-services, solutions and demand-response professional,” said Peter Murhoro, Ph.D, Chief Strategy, Technology & Innovation Officer at REC. “Her election to AESP’s Board is a great recognition of all she has accomplished.”
Bodoh joins Jeff Brown of Public Service Company of Oklahoma; Art Christianson of The Home Depot; William Ellis of Pepco, an Exelon company; Laura Orfanedes of ICF; and Laura Schauer of ILLUME Advising as part of a diverse team.

REC provides electric service to over 170,000 connections in parts of 22 Virginia counties.
