Charlottesville, VA - July 29, 2024 - The Point Church proudly announces the launch of The Academy, a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower both aspiring and current businessowners in under-resourced communities through a gospel-centered approach. This transformative program equips individuals with essential skills and resources to launch, grow, and improve their businesses, breaking down systemic barriers and promoting economic empowerment.

The Academy is a dynamic 10-week journey tailored for aspiring and current business owners, whether they have a concrete idea, a spark of passion, or are ready to elevate their business to the next level. Grounded in gospel-centered principles, The Academy is committed to fostering both spiritual and economic growth among participants.

The Academy targets under-resourced communities, including educators, first responders, and community service workers in Charlottesville, Louisa, and Waynesboro. With the ambitious goal of graduating 250 entrepreneurs within five years, The Academy anticipates its graduates will contribute $6.9 million annually back into their communities. Our program serves as a beacon of hope and opportunity, demonstrating how gospel-centered values can drive economic and social transformation.

Cost: The course is valued at over $1000, but students pay only $175, with The Point Church covering the rest.
