Trevilian Station Battlefield Foundation Celebrates 25 Years

Louisa, VA – The Trevilian Station Battlefield Foundation (TSBF) will celebrate 25 years of battlefield protection and preservation this October. The Trevilian Station Battlefield Foundation will host an open house on Sunday, October 10th from 1 until 3 at the Trevilian House.

There will be house tours, living history and historians available for information about the Battle as well as the current plans for the Foundation. Light refreshments will be served.


Since its founding in 1996, Trevilian Station Battlefield Foundation (TSBF), in partnership with the American Battlefield Trust, the assistance of the County of Louisa, TSBF members and donors, has been instrumental with preserving well over 2000 acres of historic land in Louisa County at Trevilian Station.


The Trevilian House is the recently renovated site of General George Custer’s headquarters during the 2-day battle of Trevilian Station. The Foundation also partners with Louisa County Parks, Recreation and Tourism to open and manage the equestrian trails at the Trevilian Station Battlefield Park.
