Working together to assist Louisa business.

Did you know that your Louisa-based business is eligible for FREE consulting through our regional Small Business Development Center? Having a business advisor jump in and roll up their sleeves with you can be a major benefit to businesses of any size, but especially local businesses. The Central Virginia Small Business Development Center is here to level the playing field to help you thrive- and now the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce is bringing you regular opportunities to meet with their advisors, including Louisa resident Greg Dorazio.

Greg served as the editor of The Central Virginian for five years, including during the earthquake. He then led public relations for Louisa County Public Schools for five years, supporting the rebuilding effort and the leadership transition to Superintendent Doug Straley and the launch of the TeamLCPS brand. As a contract advisor for the SBDC and as Dorazio Communications, he's provided consulting services to approximately 150 businesses and organizations.

The core service of the Small Business Development Center is one-on-one business advising. This no-cost service allows business owners to connect with experts about a wide range of topics related to their business. With a team of a dozen advisors, CV SBDC has subject matter experts covering a wide range of areas to ensure you get the best advice you need. CV SBDC also had access to market research services, innovative cohorts and accelerators, and industry-focused services to help you thrive. Access to the wealth of resources begins with meeting an advisor, evaluating your business position and needs, and referrals to specific services.
